On Halloween, things that are normal include: dressing up, getting candy, eating candy, running wildly through your neighborhood with friends, perhaps a game of Cops and Robbers or some such. Normal things do not include writing a paper (especially at this early hour). The rest of my day promises to continue in the "not-your-normal-Halloween" vein with a voice lesson, early music workshop, work, and a committee meeting. If I have my druthers, I would be sleeping until much later than now, dressing up (in some costume that I will regret when I see the photos), getting and eating candy, and running wildly through my neighborhood with friends. Ah well. We all have to grow up sometime...I just wish that it weren't today!
