I'm more than thrilled. I'm speechless. My new school is beautiful! The bathrooms work. The doors close. The glass is not broken. My classroom has more than 2 outlets! The internet works and the clocks keep time correctly. The library is well on its way to be functioning. There is even a full-time librarian!!! I'm so close to drooling!
Plus, it seems like we will actually be doing things this year. There are going to be a lot of meetings and crap, but they should be useful actually! There are going to be team meetings and grade level meetings and departmental meetings! Some of the old teachers are kinda upset about that, but whatever, they can be grumpy pants if they want to.
