On weekends, I planned lessons, explored DC a little, and recovered from the week. The house that I was living in was in very preppy Georgetown and was a cute row-house. I had a small room to myself and shared the back porch with the girl who was in the room next door. I didn't spend much time with the people in the house, though because we were all on totally different schedules.
On Saturday the 28th, I moved into my new, permanent home with Lauren and three people that she met through Teach for America. The entire interior of the house is a pale yellow and it's all been recently redone. This is my room:
The dining room and living room are pretty huge:
We have a cute little office and we have an AMAZING kitchen.
So yeah, that's were I'm living. I'm back in Chicago now for about a week and then back to DC. I hope that I'll have a school by that time and then I can start talking about school supplies, etc.
Rock on!
