Birds, lots of noisy birds
Birds in Europe, I find, are much more noisy than those in the states. Why is that, do you suppose? Also, they are more aggressive and more visible. In public buildings, you often find birds (mostly pigeons and sparrows) in public buildings, like train stations, just flying around and being noisy. It is fun.

ooooh. riiiight. man, why didn't i think of that?!
i think the birds aren't louder, but life is quietter, and so you're able to hear them more easily.
